| Have any of you fisherman heard anything about the Martin County Power Plant lately. A non fishing friend of mine told me that they are still running those quarterly benefit tournaments up there. Any info would be great, would love to get back on that body of water. |

I too have been curious about the FPL plant. A few months ago I sent a formal letter signed by everyone in my club to the plant manager. I have not received a reply to this date. |

I have talked with United Way and the manager of the power plant, the United Way would love to run the tourneys once again, but the power plant people have no intension of opening it anytime soon. I even sent them the list of other power plants across the country that allow fishing every day on the year. I haven't given up, but have had other issues on my plate to deal with. Maybe if everyone bombarded the Martin County Power Plant with requestsd, they might listen. But you have to reach the big guys at the top of the chain. | |
