Went down to Blue Lagoon early sunday morn. Saw two other charter boats leave out of the dock. We had small shiners and threw 6 dozen out there, not one single bite in 4 plus hours. We went west from the dock, and my buddy and I didn't even see one fish. The water was so dirty and full of trash. I still can't figure out where we went wrong because quite a few people say that there are big peacock in those lakes. Any Ideas?
Got to look for certin spots the first bridge going west hit all the corners fish the first part of that seawall. Go to the first little lake throw baits to all those boat docks any corner. Also go all the way to the trail 8 st 41 run until you come to the first bridge that you can take a left go under the bridge take the first right this will bring you into a lake and some good fishing
fished shiners there a week ago with no luck , seen Bottom Line Mike and someone with him in a bumble bee , they caught some nice ones , and I seen him catch a tarpon and a snook and what was real crazy we watched them fish a point just east of the east bridge and they were catching jacks and Bottom line caught a huge Arowana , they seem to be nice folk and said they were throwing spooks , we didnt bring much tackle and stuck to the shiners , they gave us a spook but it started to lightning real bad and we left before we could use them. Thanks Mike for the baits and one day will return the favor. they were fishing across from us in the main lake fishing the bridge points and few over hanging trees. hope this will be
helpful to you on your next trip there. it was weird watching them catch fish on plastics and we had live bait and only caught three fish all day -go figure
