Junior Bassmasters State Championship

I would like to take a minute of everyones time and promote the future of bass fishing and outdoors in general.
The Junior Bassmasters will hold there State Championship on Lake Okeechobee at Scott C. Driver Park. The schedule is Friday 9/21 Check In 4:00 - 6:00 pm at Oak View Baptist Church. Pairings and and Boat/Flight Numbers at 7:00pm.
Saturday 9/22 Pre-Fish from Safe light till 3:00 pm.
Sunday 9/23 Tournament from Safe Light till 3:00 pm.
Weigh will be at Scott C. Driver Park starting at 3:00 pm. The lake is off limits to anglers and boat captains from sundown Saturday 9/15 till Saturday 9/22 at safe light. Getting information during off limits period is prohibited.
The winner of each age division will advance to the Junior Bassmasters World Championship to be held along with the Bassmasters Classic.This is a huge oppertunity for each of these anglers. I have had the oppertunity to be a boat captain in some of the regular tournaments held each month and these kids are amazing to watch.The knowledge and passion they have is something to watch.If any of you have young anglers that will be involved in this I have to applaude you for your time and effort in giving them the knowledge and sportsmenship to compete in something that can be so special for them.
