Went to Brown's farm today. Got to west ramp around 8 am. Just as I was unloading an FWC officer pulled up and got out of his truck. Seems that as of Nov 1st 07 this area is closed to all but state workers and such. I told him that I did not see any signs to this effect. His response was this. He told me that a congressional order was passed recently to close the area to allow state geologists to do surveys. He said that the signs would be posted soon and anyone caught beyond the yellow gate at 27 will be fined $250. He told me to get out of there and followed me all the way to 27. What a bummer. Just as the bite was getting good. Has anyone else heard anything about this?
Sorry but I disagree, when Bush leaves the white house I think all outdoorsman are screwed. Bush has done a great job keeping OUR country safe and has brought the un-employment level's too a all time low. He may not care about our gas prices or budget but if I'm safe, I DON"T CARE... GOD HELP US IF HILLARY GET"S THE CHAIR cause you could KISS ALL OF OUR HUNTING AND FISHING GOODBYEE.....
About 2 cents was all that was worth. This country is in a downward spiral. We are on the verge of a recession if not a depression! The Bush administration has done nothing for the hunter or fisherman but a bunch of BS but thats the least of our worries. Forclosures at a all-time high. Banks going bankrupt. He's good at backing the big corporations who are robbing us blind. 15 cent gas increase over the weekend, and the big oil corps are making record profits quarter after quarter. Insurance rates that no-one can afford anymore and the Ins. industry is making record profits. Need I go on? What exactly is he doing for the hunter / fisherman while he is turning his back to everything else? If we keep going in this direction, we wont be able to afford to fish. We wont have time anyway because we will all be working second jobs (that is if we can hang on to our first job). I back our troops but not the war. There should have not been a war if the US would have just taken care of business to begin with. I agree with you on Clinton! I dont believe there is anyone running or in office thats worth your 2 cents or anyone elses.

Unemployment at an all time low?-are you an idiot??--our economy was great and our unemployment was at an all time low when clinton was in office, one of the best presidents in our history. Who cares if he got a hummer from a fat chick--everyone was making bank. Bush is a child. Anyone including barrack, hillary, hell cartman from south park would make a better president. Its just too funny that someone would chime in and say unmemployment rates are at an all time low.
Since my job is looking at employment data, the unemployment numbers are much lower than when Clinton was in office. I'm not saying who to vote for, just pointing that out. And trust me on this investors want no part of Hillary running our economy.

I ussually don't respond to political retereck but I just have to say that, "Clinton was one of the best presidents in history"... dam, what are you smoking? He gave the Koreans nuclear technology with nothing more than a promiss they would not use it for weapons? Not to mention millions of dollars to get things started? Now what are they doing? Selling it to anyone that is interested... He pulled back the troops from Iraq after the Iraqi army was pushed back from Kuwait, leaving the poor soles that help us win that battle to suffer the wrath of Saddam, in which thousands were slaughtered! After we told them we would not do that if they help us? HUH? This is why the Iraqi people would not help us in the early months after we took out Saddam, back when it would have made a difference... they simply nolonger trusted us... Interest rates were at all time high during his term in office... sorry not the site for this but, needed to give a news flash, CLINTON SUCKED AS PRESIDENT!!
