Fished from 9:30 AM til 3 PM and had a pretty good day. Caught 12 fish , Biggest fish right at 7 lbs. Lost several other big fish at the boat.

Best fish came on a shallow running crankbail and a few on Super Flukes. In the afternoon the jet skiers and water skiers got heavy so I pulled out.

Lots of docks to fish and grass. All in all it was a good day.

Was checking out Lake Osborne on a map and see that is quite large... any suggestions as to where I could try fishing it for the first time... like to try some shore fishing and/or where I can launch a kayak?

Randy, Lake Osborne has a very nice public ramp at the northern end of John Prince Park. Problem is, that's also a haven spot for jet skiers. The same is true for the public ramps at Lake Ida. Running a kyack from there might not be a lot of fun. As you know, 99% of the boaters we see are very courteous to smaller vessels, but it would only take a few turkeys to ruin your smile. Between Lake Osborne and Ida is a long interconnecting canal. And along that canal is Pioneer Park. It's a much smaller ramp, but also far less crowded.

(You get to the ramp by taking Boynton Beach Blvd off of I95 heading west. Heading west take a right on NW 7th Street/7th Court. Turn left on NW 13th Avenue. Right on NW 8th Street. Go to the end and you should see it as you are turning right.)

If you launch there, you have the ability to head north towards Osborne, or south towards Ida. That main canal also has plenty of bass too. Don't forget to try all the little side canals you'll see along the way too. Good luck.
