Im looking for some help here. Im looking a purchasing my first fiberglass bass boat. In the past I've had Tracker 17T, etc. I dont have a lot of money to spend.....I dont want to spend more then 15K$.

What are your experiences with Nitros, Tritons, Stratos, etc?

I also have a 19ft space requirement, so im Looking at the 17' ers w/ swing away tounge.

Please provide feedback if you own any of the afore mentioned boats.

Triton has a new line of boats out this year that should fit your budget. We have 2 models (186 Explorer and 176 Explorer) they are the same hull and deck of the TR186 and TR176. The only differance are the seat style's, console and std options. You can get into the 176 Explorer starting at $13,500 and the 186 Explorer starting at $15,000.

The warranties are also best in class with a Lifetime Hull and Bumper/Bumper covering EVERYTHING on the boat.

So does my Ranger. So what makes the Triton warranty better in class?

Check out the Stratos line. I see advertisments for a 17ft with a yahama motor starting around 12k. Go online at stratosboats.com .

L is the boat still for sale. Was it garage kept? How many hours on the motor?

Not garage kept but kept under 12x20 canopy which goes with the boat. Not sure on the hours. Never had an hour meter installed. Hrs. are very low compared to a lot of you "every weekend guys". Only fished two tourneys last year and maybe had it out two other times last year. I crank it up almost every weekend and trolling motor batts are charged up regularly. I have a flats-boat too and have been using it on a regular basis and the Nitro sits. So, its time to sell. I also have a Gheenoe w/ 9.0 for sale. It has frt. and rear swivel seats, poling platform w/pole, trolling motor, live-well, vest, trailer, etc. All in good shape except the motor needs minor work on the carb. .... float is sticking.

graphs and trolling mtr are not covered with ranger..

I have 3yrs on my Minn Kota and 3 yrs on my both of my Lowrance electronics according to my dealer and both manufacturers.
