The 2007 Executive Tour has become the 2008 Xecutive Tour. The format has been set and will be exciting, challenging and fair to all anglers.

XT3 will payback 100% + at the ramp, no holding back money for classic, 100% (and more) of entry fees taken in for each event will be paid back in cash and prizes at the event.

***ENTRY FEE(S)...

Each event for the 2008 XT3 season will cost $500.00. This does not include any "big bass" pot. Big bass pots will be "sidepots" and announced at a future date. Furthermore, all sidepots are not in conjunction with any stated payback formula. As stated above, XT3 will payback over 100% at each and every event for the 2008 season.

HOW IT WORKS !

This format has been devised to accommodate the desires of anglers wishing to compete in a "high caliber" tournament with the chance at earning substantial rewards even if winning isn't possible. The format also meets the desires of those wanting an "all or nothing" competition. Truly, an innovative blend of both !

All anglers compete on day one. The top 40% of field (rounded down to "even" the match field of participants) will compete on day two based on their day one "3 fish limit" weight.
On day two, anglers will be matched against other anglers in their "flight" based on day one results.

The top ten weights from day one will be flighted and paired as shown below to maintain the fairest standard for match play and aggregate weight bonuses. Subsequent matches shown below are paired to ensure anglers are competing against other anglers with similar day 1 results in an attempt to evenly match (as much as possible) all anglers for head to head competition. An important note...the TWO DAY AGGREGATE CHAMPION can come from any flight. We have created the "top ten" as merely a standard for consideration in the two-day cumulative weight bonus.

***MATCH PAIRINGS with a 60 boat field...

"Top 10" flight matches = 1st vs 10th, 2nd vs 9th, 3rd vs 8th, 4th vs 7th and 5th vs 6th
Remaining flight matches will be paired numericaly, i.e. 11th vs 12th, 13th vs 14th, 15th vs 16th, 17th vs 18th, 19 vs 20th, 21st vs 22nd and finally 23rd vs 24th for a total of 12 match winners.
XT3 is a "match-up" tour with a hefty bonus paid to the angler who weighs in the singular heaviest 2 day total weight. Other than that singular bonus, combined weights have no affect in regards to payback on this tour. Note: As stated above, 2 day aggregate champion weight can come from any angler in the field on day 2.

***HOW WE PAYBACK...

With a 60 boat field, 24 anglers will advance to fish on day two. Twelve "matches" as seen above will be announced with the winner of each of those matches (using their day two weight only) receiving $1500.00 ! Any "tie" will result in a split of prize money between the two competitors.

Two-Day AGGREGATE BONUS!
The single heaviest weight over the two days of competition will receive cash and prizes consisting of a Power Pole XL system, a MinnKota 24 volt-80 lb. trolling motor, a Humminbird color graph/ depth finder...and a check for the amount of $8500.00 !!! If that angler wins his/her match on day two, add a cool $1500.00 to that for a grand total of over $13,000.00 in cash and prizes !!!

HT3 has utilized a 60 boat sampling of this new and exciting format to not only show the paybacks but to offer those anglers enrolled in the 2008 Triton Gold program additional incentives! With a minimum 60 boat field, a $1,000.00 check will be awarded to the winner if enrolled in the Triton Gold program.

Even more...if the eligible winner's Triton is equipped with a Mercury 250 Pro XS, how about $3,000.00 instead? Adding all this up, the big winner at each event could walk away with over $16,000.00 in cash and prizes ! Note...

If a tie should result for the Aggregate Champion, a tiebreaker will consist of #1...most fish weighed, #2...most fish released alive, 3 single heaviest fish weighed. Should anglers remain tied after tie-break procedure, all monies/prizes will be split. Requests should be made to weigh single fish for tie-break consideration by the angler. HT3 assumes no responsibility to weigh single fish unless requested to do so.

ANGLER'S COMMITTMENT TO MULTIPLE EVENTS !

THERE IS NONE!.. Anglers can fish 5 or fish just 1. Pick your favorite lake and join us to see if you can win the big bonus money or even your head to head match. Anglers only have to fish 1 event to qualify for the championship on Lake Guntersville in October of 2008! This is a total committment of just 500.00 to qualify you to go to beautiful Lake Guntersville for the final event!

We invite you to "cherry pick"! Think of XT3 as 5 Open events on 5 different bodies of water across Florida and the Championship on Lake Guntersville, Al. For instance, if 30 anglers fish in Clewiston and 25 fish at Holiday Park while Harris brings 38 anglers, Kissimmee 42 and Palatka 25 with no angler fishing more than 1 event, that would qualify 160 anglers for the Lake Guntersville Championship. If 1/2 of them competed in the Championship that would be 80 boats and here is a sample of what would be waiting for them at the Championship.

80 anglers compete for 2 days (thurs/fri). Their 2 day total weight is used to qualify them for Saturday's Match Up, 40% (32 anglers) of the 80 boat field would move on to fish the 3rd and final day. The 32 anglers would be paired as described above into 16 matches with each match winner on Sunday taking home $2,000.00 and the three day aggregate champion ( grand prize winner) winning a fully rigged 20' Trition Bass Boat with 225 outboard.

If participation averages 60 boats per tournament throughout the year this boat package would be moved up to a 21' Trition with a Mercury 250 XS on it. If participation averages less than 40 boats per event this rig could become a fully rigged 19' bass boat with 200 horse outboard. But anglers will fish for a new fully rigged bass boat at the championship after being paid back 100% + at each event during the regular season. How awesome is that ?

HOW YOU QUALIFY !

This is the fun part. Anglers will have multiple chances to qualify at a fraction of the entry fee cost throughout the year. If an angler chooses, he/she can send in 500.00 plus the one time membership fee for any event they may want. This automatically qualifies the angler.

Anglers will be given several opportunities to "qualify" at HT3 American Series events. For just $100.00 an angler can enter a "qualifier" while fishing an HT3 American Series event. HT3 will move 1 angler for every 6 entered into the next XT3 event scheduled. Note: there must be at least 6 anglers entered in any qualifier in order to activate qualifier, If less than 6 anglers sign up for qualifier, their money will be returned to them and qualifier will be cancelled. At HT3's discretion, 1 spot will be awarded to XT3 for every six entrants registered. Partial fields may result in a 1/2 off entry discounts being offered to a second angler.

Additional "qualifiers" may be offered on weekdays at additional bodies of water. These qualifiers may be morning or afternoon events with the sole purpose of gaining entry into the next scheduled XT3 event. These will be announced soon! Our objective is to have the largest field possible for each event. Remember, more anglers means bigger paybacks !!!

HT3 is under no obligation to grant a qualifier upon request from angler(s) on a particular body of water and does so only in an attempt to allow as many anglers as possible an opportunity to fish the 100%+ payback XT3 event.

HT3 will also be looking to work with other trails in the state to see if there is an interest in anglers being able to qualify through their events with the full support of HT3 Outdoors. Imagine that... tournament trails working TOGETHER to help each other instead of slamming and defaming one another.

There is a lot of exciting news yet to come on the 2008 XT3 trail but be it known, once again it will be a first for the anglers of Florida as HT3 works to improve the competitive fishing experience of all Florida anglers...

Dunno? What kind of motor was on the boat you gave away last year? What's a Trition? So if only 59 boats fish one tourney it's bumped down to a "NEW" bass boat with a 200 horse outboard? Just asking....
