For those of you that are interseted in recreation in the Everglades there will be a mmeting held by the COE on April 28, 2008 6:30 PM at Tree Tops Park in Davie, 3900 NW 100th Ave. This is a chance to hear COE's proposals, and get your Thoughts across. There will be another meeting held by the COE on April 22nd 2008 held at FIU Pharmed Arena 11200 SW 8th St. Miami at 7 PM.,this meeting will be about the Tamiami Trail Project. SAFER has laid the groug work for you, now it's your turn if you care about the Everglades and fishing in the 'Glades.

PEOPLE..LET ME TELL YOU..IT IS REAL IMPRESSIVE.,AND IF IT IS APPROVED YOU WILL NOT RECOGNIZE EVERGLADES HOLIDAY PARK.
THE DESIGN FIRM IS SCHEDULED TO PRESENT THE DRAWING AND THE PROPOSAL TO THE COUNTY BOARD THIS WEEK..THEN IT WILL BE RELEASED TO THE PUBLIC.
ONE MAJOR PROBLEM..THERE IS NO MONEY TO BUILD IT.
LOTS AND LOTS OF PARKING..NEW RAMPS..FISHING PIERS AND THINGS FOR THE GENERAL PUBLIC TO ENJOY.

Maybe they can get some of the money from Ht3.

I stopped posting on any of the threads here that involved HT3 so the bickering back and forth would die down (even though my posts were defense posts and never "attack" posts).

Along comes "Bob" ???

Does "Bob" want me to illuminate him and others as to who REALLY makes what? I think some of the "Bobs" out there might be surprised...that is...if they don't know already and just make comments from out of the blue...to keep the unwarranted heat on HT3 and off their trail of choice.

There's a trail out there that can't decide one event to the next what payback ratio they want to use. It's out there for everyone to see and yet nobody calls them to the carpet!!!

Trust me...I'm just waiting to get that ball rolling.

Maybe someone should discuss holding charity events to raise money

get sponsors involved clubs , BASS espn , florida anglers , maybe one day BASS

You r dreaming there is not enough water to hold an event of that magntude. I was hopin that the county would limit the amount of bass fish tournaments. That would cut alot of the bull s__t out. Get a life. This is small town stuff. The state is going to what makes the most Money not the most sense.

after reading all this crap about ht3 and watching how this david guy conducts himself i will not be fishing the ht3 tournaments.I was undecicded but thanks to David he helped my decision.

Sorry to hear that "Jeff"! But since you're gone anyway...why don't you start a new thread and tell everybody just what was said by me that helped you "make up your mind". We all would like to know how you arrived at that decision based on my refuting lies and negative, baseless commentary here...only because it was posted...here.

I mean, you not having enough "info" on HT3 to make up your own mind whether or not to fish...and then arriving at the decision not to fish coupled with the decision to post that bit of news here for all to see has me wondering..."Jeff"!

DD. I do not know you from Adam as you do not know me, but defending yourself on a forum is obviously not working.

I learned the hard way also that defending yourself to a bunch of babies will never work out. It is far better to let them open their mouths and insert their own foot rather to force their foot into their mouth. Follow me? For in defending yourself you have turned away some folks that were considering fishing your event. So who won? You or the other guy?

It also speaks about someones character if they can get bashed wrongly only to keep on doing what they are doing and act professionally and not defend themselves and allow the truth to come out and defend themselves for them. If we take matters into our own hands, then we will do a far worse job of defending ourselves than the truth will or even others who know the truth. Just a little advise. If you don't like it then forgive me. I thought I would at least try.

This isn't politics and the negative aura that surrounds politics turns most everyone away. I am sure you would agree with that? Just remain positive and say what you do and keep it at that. Let these children make themselves look bad with their own comments. There is a saying that goes: "Never get in an argument with an idiot as they will pull you down to their level and will beat you every time with experience"

It was never me that I was defending however. It was't a "defense" at all really. But I understand the point you make and I agree.

It's just that HT3 and I know who some of the posters are and they were never going to participate in the first place. You see Keith, there are some that can't participate by HT3's decision...not by their's. But they will go to sites such as this one and post commentary with no-one knowing who they are. They "pretend" to be interested only to have me answer their negativity and then say for all to see that I've "made their mind up for them"...which is true...only that I "made it up for them" long ago. If only the "onlookers" could hear the real truth for themselves!

Call it "Bass Wars" I guess. They have an agenda and I...to this point have only posted to refute their claims. Take a look back at the really big thread (60 posts). You'll see that attacks are launched and I countered. Every single one of the negative, inflamatory posts can be refuted with honesty. He or she knows it...and even they discontinued their attack (at least for a while). It's here...it's there. We get told about it and do what we can. I never thought I sounded anything but genuine. Oh well...
