L-67

Its the canal that will go south from Holiday. It will run a little west (3-4 miles) before it turns and runs south. It will run south to L29 (Tamiami-41). Check with Holiday Park desk...they used to have a little map of canal system out there.

Longcast thanks for the info. Is there also a L-67A canal in addition to the L-67 canal?

Thanks.

Keith,
The L-67 referred to here is the L-76A canal. There is a L-67C canal which runs parallel to the L-67A. That canal is often referred to as the little L-67 and can only be accessed from the Tamiami Trail.
Cheers,
Al O

This is a very good online map. It gives you the GPS coordinations for the marsh areas which is nice. The fishing is very good at these opening right now. Throw top water (frogs, toads, spooks) and stick and jerk baits (senko, flukes).

What is the plug in the canal at 13.8 miles? I am in North Carolina & have fished at Holiday a few times but have never made it that far down. Can you go beyond it?

Apparently this is an older map. There used to be a weir at the 13.8 mile, it's no longer there but the water is a lot shallower at this location. Good spot when the current is flowing.

Is the water still low enough for the fish to be in the canals?
