We are gathered here together on this sad occasion to say good bye to an old friend which has died.
Yes, I'm talking about "The S. Florida Bass Fishing Report" She is now officially dead and seems any chance of recovery hopeless. There will be burial service next to the parking lot in the little grave yard at Holiday Park. Guest speakers include "bIg pApPa bAsS", "IKE IKE IKE", "The Canuk" and of course "Bart". Servises to be held Saturday, Safe light till 3 P.M.. Refresments to be served atop the hill following.
The reports of the demise of our beloved reporting system is premature.
There are many of us capable of preforming CPR and using shock paddles to bring it back to life.
All it will take is a committment to send in fishing reports and to totally ingore any negativity..no arguing..no omments and no continuity. With out any comments,the arguements will cease.
It is a shame that a few people can ruin a good thing for the rest.....I thought once I learned about the site it was a good source for fishing information amongst fishermen and not a cut throat, backstabbing blog as it has turned out to be. I hope the webmaster of the site can see through some of the bs and continue the site. I fish in a local club and fish for the relaxation of the sport. Keep up the good work in keeping this site for the average fisherman.

Working 40 hours a week, while trying to open my own business, and trying to raise two kids, I don't get out very often. When I did, I always checked this site for some info, and was happy to take 10 minutes out of my day to contribute something back.
This forum needs to get back to decent reports, and less crap. Anyone who wants to bicker and call each other out on lying and cheating needs to do it face to face like a man. Most of the posts now sound like a bunch of teenagers duking it out on Myspace.
Believe it or not, I came to this site for the reports too.
Never having been to the Park prior to my visits to this website, I found it useful in learning a little something about the area.
I'll do what I can to offer Big O reports as well as other lakes I may visit competitively.
