OFFICIAL RESULTS SITE FOR -S.A.F.E.R. - SPRING FLING -GAMBLER-KING OF THE GLADES-EVERGLADES BASSMASTERS-NIGHT OWLS-RENEGADES AND ALL OTHER LOCAL OPEN TOURNAMENTS
Lake Okeechobee is truly amazing. From the challenges of almost no water to fish, to the abundant amount of water available today, to the waves she kicks up with a little wind, Lake Okeechobee is never boring. The anglers that fished this past weekend experienced the joys of success and the doldrums of what bad weather can do to a good day of fishing.
This was the Bass Busters Team Tournament Trails 18th Year of providing at least one monthly tournament every month and many times as many as four monthly. We appreciate all the anglers that have spent time with us over the years and hope to see everyone back in 2009.
Our Plans are to offer the Silver and Gold Divisions on the third weekend of almost every month. As well as, provide the Super-Bucks Mini Series May-September in a two day format with a Classic in September. All tournament run from Clewiston on Lake Okeechobee. We will also sponsor the 2009 Toys for Kids tournament next December.
Exciting news for December 14, 2008 is this years Toys for Kids tournament that will be held in Clewiston on Lake Okeechobee. Last year we had over 40 Boats and are expecting even more this year. This is a very special tournament for us and a way for all of the anglers that fish Lake Okeechobee to say Thank You to the local Clewiston Community. All the toys stay right in Clewiston and are distributed by the Clewiston Police Department to kids in the local area that need to have a special Christmas. The entry is simply $50 and two unwrapped toys. 100% payback in Cash and Prizes. Entry forms can be found on our website at www.bassbustersflorida.com
On to the results from this past Weekend. First Place overall went to the team of Durand Locke and Don Brown of Loxahatchee, Florida. They weighed in a total of 25.43 pounds and had the Second Place Big Bass weighing in at 5.68 pounds. Second Place overall went to team GAMBLER, Val Osinski and Skip Reed of Pompano Beach, Florida. They weighed in a two day total of 17.83 pounds. Third Place overall went to the team of Ron Yentz and Chris Rand of Palm Beach, Florida with a two day total of 17.66 pounds. Fourth Place went to Keith Perron and Ken Fitton of Boynton Beach, Florida with an overall weight of 16.73 pounds. Fifth Place overall went to the team of Asa Godsey and Mark Lee with a total weight of 15.19 pounds.

You must be talking about one of the other trails. Not Bass Busters. If you like , you can call Chris and he will let you look at his books. And as far as you fishing one of his tourny's with 12 boats and him taking $800. I think your FOS. MPO of course. ADD THIS COME STAIN !. $100.00 entry X 12 boats is $1200.00 less $10.00 per boat big fish is $1080.00 and if he took $800.00 as you say that leaves $280.00 to payout or hense the F O Sh-T comment above. MPO of course. Thats on the Sunday Gold Division. If you take the same number of boats for the Silver Division on Saturday where the entry is $60.00 per boat thats only $720.00 total SO it's not likely that he pocketed $800.00 from that one HENSE THE "YOUR FULL OF SH-T" comment above. MY personal opinion of course there "C-M STAIN"

Is it just a guess on your part or do you have proof that he even gets anything from the city or anyone else for that matter ?. Have you ever thought about just asking him face to face what he does with what he gets ? Maybe you should. Maybe you should do it at one of his events so everyone can hear his answers OR MAYBE if you dont have the nads to do that then you should just shut up , stay home and hope you have 10 boats at your next event so you will have gas money for the ride home.
guys, why do you worry about what a tournament director makes from running a tournament.Heres a newsflash for you. running a tournament is a BUSINESS!!!!!!!as with any business if you dont like it dont go there. Now all of you quit complaing and go fishing .And to the tournament directors thank you for all you do in helping to promote our sport.
