Got my boat (Junebug)out of shop and went to hol pk for first time in 4 months. fished from 9 til almost ll AM - ran down middle canal - caught 6 bass fishing little rapala (#7) as a topwater - 2 small peacocks all the bass 14" or smaller but easy to catch. spent most of my time throwing frog - caught one 15"
Lots of small fish on small topwater, looks like it would be a good go for youngsters or out of town visitors to have some action - flukes and such would probably work as well or better.
Lots of small peacocks maybe chubdunking would catch bigger ones. VERY high water.
