Millions of 5inch fish only got a few big bites throwing 13 inch Gambler in "florida five-o color" or "watermellon candy" seemed to be the color the wanted.
Caught alot of 1-2lbers in the small pad canal next to the road on your way in and missed one monster around 9:00am then fished the big canal west and caught 2 good ones and 100 5 inch fish, it was weird not one fish over 8inches then "Bam" a good one every 5 miles of trolling and could not get any good bites on a spook and the wind was blowing good.
Fish slow and watch the water as you bring you bait up saw a few big ones come up and look at my bait, we got the good ones fishing the outside of the pads.
