From what I heard John was rushed to the hospital something to do with a heart issue ?
I pray for him and his family.

Saw john on wed eve at north west reg hospital , he will home thurs, fri latest, had a couple of blocked arteries, all taken care of should be back on the water soon! He will be happy to here of all the well wishers!! Thanks from the Pate family!

glad to hear he'll be home soon ! looks like pate and Blm will be off the water for awhile wish them both the best and speedy recovery time .

Just talked with Mrs Pate and she said John is doing much better since they did the stints to unclog is viens and even though they had a real scare John will be home later today or Tom. She wanted me to say thanks to all the anglers and personel friends of Johns who came to see him and called him and posted on this site. I would like to thank all those who called me as well .
Both John and I look foward to doing what we love so much to do fishing in the
everglades and will both be on the water soon the one good thing for me is after I heal ill still be able to eat that a.m. honey bun and that big greesy cheeseburger at Holiday Park but carrots and salad for John LOL Once again
