Big reel had its tourny up on the lake this weekend. We fished out of Clewiston. Most of the fish came from the West Wall using soft plastics on top. The winner had 16lbs fishing Cross Island with slow moving bottom baits. I fished between the point of Tin house cove and Buckhead and caught nice fish on Flap n Shads. If anyone is fishing out of the north end all you have to do is find the heavest jointed nut grass that is closest to the open lake and hold on. I'm sure that this pattern will work anywhere on the lake right now so long as the area is not being pounded by fisherman.<((()))><

I would also like to know

July 21 2009, 10:47 AM

I did a search for jointed nut grass and only found references to nut grass. These are plants that are not aquatic however. They sometimes grow near to the edge of the water but not out in the water. They are actually edible.

Can you post a link to what this grass looks like since I am sure it is not the "Nut Grass" that I found online?

Thanks.
