Most of the reponses I've heard to the new DVD set have been positive (I personally probably won't get to see it till Christmas), but I thought this was worth sharing http://www.penny-arcade.com/view.php3?date=2004-09-22&res=l

Why not burn all copies of the original trilogy in any way, shape, or form and reshoot the entire three films! Britany Spears can play Princess Leia! The Harry Potter kid gets to be Luke. Han Solo will be played by WWE superstar turned actor The Rock. And every other object and character will be ALL CGI!

You know, I'm probably not too far off from the truth with that one.

Someone said there were some sound issues with it, though. Did you notice anything?

Not really

I've only watched A New Hope so far, and the only issue in that respect I can think of was that the volume needed to be turned up rather high to for it to be the best. But that's how it is with a lot of DVDs.
