Mage/Kult Fusion

I toyed with running these sorts of games a lot before I got burned out on WoD. I think they can jive fairly well. Arete and Mental Balance (one point of Arete for every 50 points of mental balance works very well) can be merged, Paradox (as noted) does a good job of replicating physical changes and projection, and the Traditions versus Technocracy split can easily reflect a Malkuth versus the rest of the Archons split, with Lictors as the Secret Masters of the Technocracy. In order not to overpower the Kult setting, I'd suggest using the Revised rules on foci (no dropping them until Arete 5) and requiring rituals for most major effects rather than allowing a lot of fast-casting.
