Vampires are just a result of this. A kind of Virus transfused when infected saliva or blood comes in contact with the victims blood.
Of course Vampires have 'supernatural powers':
Malkuths Intention on creating Vampires was to give them a glimpse of divinity including to defy on some laws of nature (as they are part of the illusion).
But as she created them there cannot exist any vampires older than the vanishing of the Demiurge. (Maybe not even 100 years as she needed modern sciences.)
