It all started just after the accident...
well I should say my surgery. After I recovered,
I got back into the groove of things. Taking
the train to work and then back home everyday.
Along the way the train passes through a down
trodden part of town on the way in to the city.
There are always homeless, gangs and low lives
on the platforms or down in the streets. The old
buildings forgotten and in disrepair. I don't
know how they can live like that.
As the train passes under this one trestle there
is always some recent graffiti. I never really paid
it any attention. It doesn't really meet my definition
of art. However, recently I was able to catch some
names as the train sped by. Sure enough every day
there is another and another. The old names were
gone and replaced by others. I can't say there
is anyone I know... they seem kind of familiar at
times but then I draw a blank.
Well here is the weird part... today as we passed
I could swear I saw my name up there...
Then I suddenly took notice of two "men" watching me.
My god... I must be losing my mind... they weren't human!
