This was a chat K6 & I had one night about an idea I had for a Hindenburg adventure... I am opening it up for discussion... since Ican't find the time to really develop it...

It may not be the techonolgy that is the problem. I think that you should thing a bit more large scale. There should be some master plan that makes the adventure fun to read

I think that there may be a plan involving the Hindenburg that can be played in a modern day scenario (where the player characters only briefly cross over to the past.) This is definately possible as time is just an illusion

the destruction of the Hindenburg and refusal of the US to provide Helium ended the Zeppelin/Blimp industry in a few years after... it was seen as unsafe being the first modern disaster covered live and photographed so vividly... many felt the airplane industry was behind it

It could be a pretty suggestive war between lictors in the airplane industry and Hareb Serap's followers trying to bring back an old incarnate (In the H-burg) by competing with their blimps

Most recent theories seem to feel it was painted with rocket fuel which caught on
fire from static electricity when moring ie... connection to ground. Oh the humanity!
