I followed Rabbit to Metropolis and swallowed both pills

Hope the title caught your eye as I haven't posted here often (just once to speak up about the wonderful but compact Hardwired book for CP2020). I was sick for about a over a week and finally had the time (while running a fever and bed-ridden) to do the two things I've wanted to do for over a year; I watched the Matrix trilogy straight through (when I feel asleep, I restarted the whole thing...so saw a bunch more than once) and read every Kult book I had aquired after grabbing the 3rd edition (just missing Player's Companion now).

Sorry if this is disjuncted, still slightly fevered. Anyway, it all the gnostic implosion of watching and reading things that at first seemed so different from one another got me thinking about how I could finally get people in this backwards D20 saturated area to get interested in Kult. I would kultify what i liked about the Matrix and see how the cosmology of the Kult world could be properly meshed with elements of the Matrix.

My first hurdle/thought was that Malkuth and the Oracle serve the same purpose in both movies. Mother of the Matrix/Earth Goddess was an easy parallel to make, but one that deserved a bit of thought as well. Morpheus seemed to do things above the human norm, but influenced those around him just as much as he did things himself. The wide-eyed devoted behavior of the hacker-supreme seems like it would be very easy to make him not just a follower of Malkuth/Oracle, but perhaps a manifestation as well...a part of her, but with enough free will to act on his own impulses.

Neo is another easy one to peg if you think about it hard enough. He is the Demiurge reincarnate. Would it not be a nice suspension of normal Kult belief that the Creator has hidden his Essence in one of us, to be reincarnated over and over again until we are ready for all the truths of reality. Astaroth as Mr. Smith, the all knowing but alien thinking Lord of Hell. Trinity as an avatar of Tipperoth or Binah, never sure which. I could .go on with most of the characters.

I also have this idea of combining the idea of the City from the Matrix mythos with Metropolis as well. Any input?
