Is this a symptom of our time? Everything around me turns to mud and ashes. Every man, woman and child seems nothing but empty husks, vague echoes of their former glory. The wold is indeed becoming a sad place.
In answer to that which you asked us not to answer I can only say...
...One may feel like one has experienced all there is to life. One may feel that one knows all there is to know about oneself and the world one lives in. Nothing could be farther from the truth. If nothing else, there is always the quest of learning how to cope with knowing it all.
I know exactly how you feel, as I have been there more than once. When writers blocking, creative stasis and a general discomfort in everything that I do seems to govern my existence, I usually vanish into the the void of the web, reading up on anything that might catch my interest. Journeying through the endless possibilities and thoughts contained on the Internet, it really isn't that hard to find new inspiration. Try it out sometime, if nothing else you will have killed time for a few more hours, relishing in escapism of a more positive nature.
