We plan to organise direct sales of ACE kits in packs of 16-17 kits (no retail, sorry) using CCNow (no need to register in their system - valid credit card is a must). This will be oriented more to modellers clubs, wargamers and smaller shops. Prices will be higher than wholesale for distributors but less than known to me retails while Airmail and handling will be inside of that price (mean no extra charges).
Here is a block of questions:
1. Does anybody know about any disadvantages of CCNow?
2. Any similar services of a better quality than CCNow?
3. Any questions and Your special wants may be placed here (no orders yet, please)
We just want to organize a better service and that's why I want to know Your opinions.
Thanks in advance for response.

Sincerely, Alexey.

Dear Alexey ccnow is a good company but sometimes they require manual authorization of the orders i mean you have to send a copy of your credit cards and signature is possible that some people will become non confortable from this system, this is the only disadvantage that I found with ccnow, I hope this help

Hi again,
If someone used both PayPal and CCNow - please give me a short brief or at least want to know when PayPal is more preferable by modellers/customers.
Thanks in advance.

Sincerely, Alexey.

Paypal vs ccnow

Hi again

Paypal also is good but it only accept credit card, ccnow accepts also debit cards or cards that are affiliate with visa, american express or master cards, maybe some modellers will want have many options to pay their kits, also ccnow has a system in which you can see the status of your orders.

I hope this helps

Raul

Gee, I like my Old Stand by, you send a Check or M.O to a third Party, He/she Cashes it, Deposits the Money into an Account created just for ACE and you Access that account from Online.

CC Now Vs Paypal

No score for this post
March 8 2003, 12:19 AM

I have made several orders with CC Now to various companies in Russia and never had a problem with them. I can not say the same for PAY PAL. I have purchased orders on Ebay and tried to use Pay Pal and had problems on more than one occasion with them recognizing my credit card. Very frustrating.
