Alexey I have two questions about your TO-55 ( bought one last week ) !

First: Was or is the TO-55 only in Soviet/russian service or was it also exported ?

Second: Is the TO-55 still in use by the russian army and if so was it used in any of the conflicts of the last decade or even in Afghanistan ?

Dear Benni,
When worked on decals for TO-55 tried to find any photos with German/Polish markings. Found nothing. Probably because E. Germany as well as few other countries had a licence production of a T-55. Believe that NO flamethrowers were used by other Warshaw Pact countries.
As for Afghanistan: Don't think these were in use in mountains. At least I don't have any photos.
If somebody else have such ones - please send these to this DG.

Don't forget about TOS-1 (heavy flamethrower system = direct translation) Buratino. No more use for so specialized tanks.....

Hi all,
this TOS-1 system has been very effective in Chechnya,if not controversal.... Alexey do you have a picture of modern Ukrainian soldiers, in todays camo,?? are the same uniforms shared between Russia and Ukraine or different??
