Good Morning Alexei,

This year after several years of modelling devoted to WW2 models, I started sorting out your kits from hobbyterra.com and I was hooked!
I discovered that some nice subjects such as the GVOZDIKA self-propelled gun and the PT-76 are not currently available in your range and I was wondering if you are planning a reissue of them as they are quite unique in plastic...(ok, there is another PT-76, but I prefer yours...)
Any idea about their reissuing?
Regards
Enzo

Enzo,

First of all thanks for a good question.

Don't think we'll reissue PT-76 kit (check e-bay for the kit and/or retailers who still have it).

As for 2S1 Gvozdika: We got many letters asking to reissue this kit and believe we can do this with new tracks sprue, i.e. kit will be improved one day.

Sorry, no exact date here.

Sincerely Alexey.

Alexei,

Thank you for the information.

I will look forward for your Gvozdika, any idea about a T-64?

I have another question for you: when dealing with Soviet/Russian equipment, you immediately find a serious lack of references such as drawings in scale or information on markings and camouflage.
I have collected a few drawings from Concord, etc. but I am not 100% sure about their correctness. Do you know if there are sources, such as Bronekolletsiya booklets or similar from where you can extract such drawings.

Do you know of any good bookshop in Kiyv with a good supply of vehicles books?
I have some good friends in Kiyv and perhaps they may help me with finding this information.

Regards

Enzo Valentini

Enzo,

At a moment there is no any idea about T-64 (while I have excellent line drawings for it - highly recommend a great "T-64" book by Vasiliy Chobitok, who is good friend of mine).

As for Concord drawings: Most of their drawings need some corrections/additions.

Hard to tell You good source for drawings (at least "M-Hobby" drawings are usually very accurate and they do publish a digest with all/or most drawings printed during a year). The other sources are very individual....

Good source for books to be bought from a Web is Armybook company (sometimes slightly more expensieve than can be found in other places, but a good choice of items in stock).

As for a specialized bookshop in Kiev: The one at the Oleny Teligi str. #35 is recommended.

Sincerely Alexey.
