Thanks for the reply to my post.
So my next question is having attached the new fenders,how does the rubber side skirt fit on? Do you have to remove the front part of the skirt,only offering it up to the hull and new fender it doesn't seem to match the shape of the later fender.I'm sorry for all these questions but I'm struggling to understand how the skirts were attached to the front fenders.

Mark,

Yes, front part of a side skirt have to be removed....

As for how fender and side skirts looks like .... I've added the next photos to help You:

new skirts

Hi Alexey

I also have a little trouble with the new dust skirts for the late series
T-72's.
On the T-90 i have just built, the new skirts (Parts 76 & 77) are not wide enough! the new part's are about 1mm too short on each side leaving the front edge of the side skirts (Parts 1 & 2) exposed!
Is this correct?

Alan,

Real thing is made from metal (central part) and rubber (sides) and for "more attractive look" I would offer to remove plastic representation of a rubber and to replace it with an appropriative cardboard or foil (check photo below):
