Dear Modeller,
Am interested in Your opinion about MOST wanted 1/72 kit. Let me know WHAT You are looking for in this part of modelling world and this kit may became the next in my production plans. As soon as winners will be decided I'll ask for as much as possible detailed information.
Thanks for help.
Sincerely, Alexey.

1. BTR 80
2. BMP 3
3. T 64
3. Softskins of any description.
4. Crew figures to 'populate' AFVs/softskins.
But I will be happy with any new models. Those that I have built or are in the process of building are providing great enjoyment and a few challenges - the way modelling should be!

I don't know if this sounds just silly to you, but being very interested in the early tanks of world war one, I would just love to see the first German tank, the A7V, as a 1/72 kit. I think it could gather a lot of interest, being very unusual in markings, form etc.
Two tips:
1. The British company Emhar is said to have cancelled their own A7V 1/72 project. Maybe something could be picked up there?
2. The A7V is very well documented, so anyone doing it should have no problems what so ever when it comes to plans etc. (For more info, see my own site www.landships.freeservers.com)
All the best and keep it up!

Without a doubt, the one I would like most in 1/72 is the GAZ-66. Available in 1/35. but not on small scale (yet). A T-62 would be nice too, but the GAZ-66 has it!

I would like to see one of the cleanest designed SP's and one of the ugliest - but magnificent - SPU!
1. 2S3 - a beautiful design
2. 2S7 - because it may be the biggest ever!
3. AT-T/AT-L tractor - because you can convert it into lots of variants (though a SNAR-2 or ARSOM-1....)
4. ZRK-SD 'Krug' - a beautiful BIG ugly vehicle (with lots of variants for the chassis
5. SSNR/ZRK-SD (the radar for the above - NATO called it 'Pat Hand')
But anything will do!!!!!!!

Modern Soviet equipment? Oh, yeah, I use those too!;)
Here's my Top Ten Soviet AFV wish list from most wanted to least:
1) Aist class Hovercraft
2) T-10M Heavy Tank
3) SA-2 SAM with launcher (like the old
Airfix kit, only better if ACE does it!)
4) T-55 MBT
5) T-54 MBT
6) ZPU-23-4 AAA ground mount
7) ZPU-23-1 AAA ground mount
8) ZPU-23-2 AAA ground mount
9) Scud Missile with launcher truck
10) Ural Truck series
All of the above are to feed my obsession with the early Middle East conflicts. And if ACE decided to do any Israeli AFVs such as M3 Halftracks or Super Shermans, I'd line up to buy them in bulk!;)

I would add one of the new BTRT's on a t55 or t90 hull to your list. Perhaps you could use the gun platforms on the 30mm gun'd BTR 80/90 too?
Keep up the good work.

I am interested in IDF models, but I´m a portuguese model maker, still here are my most wanted, isreali MERKAVA III or MERKAVA III BAZ, M113 ZELDA 2, PUMA, NAKPADON centurion based APC, etc.
I realise that you center your prodution on soviet models, but you can be shore that these subjects are very forgoten in kit prodution and make very, trust me, very interesting subjects.
with by best regards

Joao has a good point regarding the IDF vehicles. perhaps a viable compromise for ACE Models would be to issue either conversion kits or actual models of their existing kits as modified for service in the IDF. I think that this would be great for fans of the IDFs unique vehicles, AND make the tooling costs less of an issue for ACE Models, AND expand ACE Models' catalogue very nicely indeed!;)

1. PT-76 with decals for Russian, Mid-East and Vietnam
2. K-63 Chinese APC
3. BTR-T APC on T-55 hull
4. BTR60P
5. T-10M
6. ISU-152
7. T-34/85 plus conversion for Chinese variant
8. Type 63 Chinese amphib tank
9. ZSU 57-2 with Mid-East and Vietnam markings
10. British Centurion
My most wanted is the PT-76, K-63, Type 63, and ZSU 57-2. Plus the Centurion would be a beautiful world-theater kit as it's fought pretty much all over the world.
What I don't understand is why such an important vehicle as the T-55 has recieved only moderate attention from model companies.
See ya,
Matt

I1ve just seen some photos of an interesting (maybe proto) T-72 variant: T-72TSV (i think it's an anti-tank version) and it very nice. I prefer it and all of the T-72 variants (like the polish PT-91 Twardy) and the similar T-90. Thanks

Seems there are only the ARMO and dicast Armour US AFV's in 1/72 scale, so I'd like to see:
Hummvee's in various configurations / options
LAV's in various configurations / options
Bradleys
You could provide a few different options (command, tank killer, etc.) in a kit, which would allow for customization.
I'd also like to see more diorama accessories for modern 1/72 subjects. ICM's soviet airbase accessories is nice, as are some of the ww2 airfix accessories kits. There are also others in 1/76, but it's not close enough for most hardcore modelers.
My 2 rubles...

Hi Aleksei,
So far I have made a BMP-1 and 4 BRDM-2 variants, and I am working on your PRP-3 and BMP-2.
What I would love to see as kits are something like:
- Scud or Scrooge missiles on IS chassis,
- "Kondensator" 42cm SP gun
- other large mobile strategic rockets, especially using 12/14 wheel MAZ carrier.
Thank you and keep the new kits coming!
Gary.

Hi Alexie,
I am glad that there are so many Russian vehicles being made. Thank you.
One that I would like to see (and need) is a Russian 'bridger' as the type used by the Egyptians to help cross the Suez in 1973.

2) Type 79
or

Thanks,

As you can see from all these replies, ACE would do QUITE well for themslves by becoming the LEADER in 1/72nd armor kits. We have a huge hole out here for quality 1/72nd tank kits.
As long as you are asking for ideas, I'd really like to see these tanks in 1/72nd scale please!

Both (a) and (b) in "Afghan fashion", I mean, spare wheels (BTR) and laser rangefinder, side skirts, turret horseshoe armour and frontal armour plates and KTM mineroller attachment (T62)
M-113 in basic APC configuration as there are a lot of versions that could be easily done easily starting from that model.
Needless to say... all with opened hatches, please.
