OK, if not president, how about Sportsman of the Year? Deanna was at every Saturday and Sunday race, as well as every heads-up race, cheering on not only her husband and son, but many other racers as well. If things went right during a pass, she was among the first to congratulate a racer. If things went wrong, she was among the first to tell a racer to shake it off and buy-back or go at it full-throttle during the next race. She cheered on Team Milan at both Division 3 and Michigan Bracket Finals, and was the "go-to" person for racers and families of racers at Michigan Bracket Finals, where she set up a home-away-from where we could shoot the breeze with fellow racers or grab something to eat or drink (thanks also to Milan for treating!) She stays until the end of every race, and acts every bit as invested as the racers in the finals. She is a true sportsman.
