The downbars going to the front by the seats, are they suppose to be straight or can they be bent to make it easier to get in?? Also, the bars going from the top of the center loop to the back are also bent. Is this ok or are they wrong??

I was under the impression they had to be straight for safety reasons and could not be bent. Someone is selling a mustang with these bars bent and he argued with me regarding they could be bent and it would be fine.

Does anyone know if they can be bent or if they have to be straight??

Also, would certification of the chassis be determined by these bars.

i bought my cage from summit and the door bars and the back bars were pre bent already.
