| I bought a 70 nova a few years ago w/no title thinking i would just build a drag car out of it , well now i want to drive it and need a title. i cant find the old owner. what can i do? anyone got an old junk nova and a title? Thanks, Jeff

you could take the vin # from the dash and try calling your local secetry of state office and see if they could issue you a new one.

If you have the vin number you can send a letter to the state you live in and they can issue you a new title.
I would not use someone elses old title you are just asking for trouble. You maybe able to do the title search on line.

go to Sec. of State with vin of car tell them you lost title they will run vin. as long as it doesn't come up stolen there is a form you fill out & you will get a title. this is as long as it hasn't been registerd in at least 2 years.
