i was one of the venders that was there and the crowd was pretty thin for a swap meet, only about 1/2 of the bays were filled with persons selling stuff, i did ok myself, but there were better crowds the past 5 years, I was selling performance parts new cheaper then summit or jegs, and all i seen was retards with short hands and deep pockets! I hope this isnt any indication of what going to happen at the track this year. maybe "pinks should come to milan every year so the big crowds stay and spend there money to keep the track profitable." Anyone care to comment?

T-Bird kid, take a look around, have ya been living under a rock for the past few years? The state of our economy is what is wrong. Michigan has the highest unemployment rate in the country, don't ya think that might be affecting your swap-meet parts sales buisness? Hell, well established, long time, once profitable companies are going under here in this pitiful state. People that go to swap-meets are there for the low down dirty deals, so that's the kind of customer you're always going to encounter. If a buyer wants new parts, then they buy from the ligit sources, they offer return privileges and manufacturer warranty coverages. Wake up and smell the economy!!!

Don (tbirdkid), You are the creep that was in the back of the swapmeet with a bunch of junk that no one buys regardless of price. All the Cheesy chrome gadgets in the back pages of Jegs and Summit. The biggest problem with your sales was your continuous lip service about being able to beat jegs and summits prices. Give it a rest and go to super chevy events. We bought alot of Ford stuff and had a great time at Gorno FORD!!!! Before you accuse people of being broke and retarded maybe you should consider that they did not want to make the same mistake buying CHEESY junk parts that you did.

First let me appoligize to Chevrolet guys. My comment was not to insult Chevrolets but to this Dolt that showed up with only Chevrolet parts at a traditionally Ford swap meet. We race and appreciate all brands but cannot stand a GOOFBALL bad mouthing a cool event.

i didnt think autometer stuff was only ford too bad your so narrow minded, dont get off the subject clown, last time i checked that swap meet had the big 3 stuff there mopar ford and chevy, due to declining vendors they allowed everyone in not just fords, but hey you know who i am, if you have something to say your more than welcome to say it to my face,( im not one to run from something negitive said) just because you think you have an audience here to say negitive things about me, ive done business with about 30 or so persons on this board over 3 or 4 years, havent had a problem yet, and dont plan on it, but hey we run into punk sooner or later, im not worried in the slightest, thanks milan great board just wish i could say that about some of the persons who use it as well. peace out.

Dude people go to a swap meet to get a deal not to just beat summit or jegs price. If someone buys a guage from you for 40 dollars less than summit and when they get it home or a week later it doesnt work now they have to hunt you down to get their money back or even a replacement if their lucky. Where as summit or the local parts store they just ship it back or go to the store and have it replaced. The conveince is worth way more than forty $ sorry. thats how most people look at it.
