I changed my powermaster brake system [buick turbo car] to manuel brakes with areospace cali. and rotors all four. And a strange master cly. After bench bleeding and bleeding the brakes i have a very low pedel and need to pump the brakes.
I need help with this problem anybody have an idea.
Sounds like you have air still in the system. Probably going to the rear. OR the pushrod to the master cylinder is to short. Bore size in the master cylinder could be to small. Good Luck!
If I'm not mistaken, I think that master cylinder all ready has the internal valves in them. You still have air in the system. It took me a long time to get a Rock Hard pedal on my car. Gravity bleed the system, crack the fittings at the master , line lock, pressure gage, etc, work your way through the system.

when you changed the calipers, did you make sure you have the right on the right and the left on the left, if not that places the bleeder down about two inches and
you will never get the air out, only takes a second to check.
I did check a the bleeder fitting is at the highest point of the caliper. I have a strange master cly. the one that has 1.032 dia. They do make one that is 1.125 dia.
On most stock disk brake systems there is always some drag on the rotors. These have none. should i add shims behind the pad????
Tom , I know this may sound too stupid, but I had the same problem. I was pulling my hair out, (what little is left) until I discovered on my Strange calipers, there were a total of (4) four bleeders per wheel. I totally and completely missed the two inner bleeders, they were hidden on the inner side. I power bleed the complete system again, and now, the pedal is rock solid. I took a typical garden type sprayer, adapted the hose to the cap on the master cylinder, pumped up the pressure, and bleed the complete system is a snap. I then went around and did it again with the pedal.
