Our longtime family friend, Doug Cunningham, passed away last night in a tragic motorcycle accident on his way home. We are deeply saddened. Doug was a "big brother" to us. Doug raced at Detroit Dragway for many years. He was such a family man--family was #1 to him. He became involved with the Scorpions and loved his Harley. He is going to be missed by all. Funeral arrangements to follow.

I need some details on this a.s.a.p. and I am sure you will post it here.
Doug C. was the best, he would give his shirt off his back to help anyone out, was funny and fun to all he knew. He was a racer, a builder of all things mechanical engine wise, and I am sure we will all miss him.

To Carol and the family, I pray for your safe keeping during this difficult time, and I am as empty as a fuel cell on that final round of racing. Be strong as you have many supporter's to help you along this dark path that has just been laid down in front of you and your family.

The Gould family sends our love, prayers and we will be there for you if you need anything, all you have to do is call us. We will also be attending any service and will be there to support you.

Rest in Peace my good friend Doug, you have left us with many a smile and sore ribs from your laughter and good times. Drive that race truck in heaven like you stole it, and be well my lost friend, I will never forget you.....Godspeed Dougy.
