Can someone tell meif crossing the Boarder from the US into Canada to pick-up a Car and bring back is POSSIBLE with/Out a Passport?I have several other forms of ID and just want some 1st hand INFO?

To cross now days you need a drivers license and an "original" birth certificate with the embossed stamp on it...or a passport.

They have been asking me a boat load of questions when I been crossing over lately...and I have a passport to show them.

Now picking up the car. You better have proof of ownership when you come back. They will make note on their computer of your license tag number and that you came across with an "empty" trailer.

If you are buying it...you will owe duty on it.

When you go over to Cananda you better have a good reason for having all that money on you too. It is illegal to cross the border with $10,000 in cash or more...for any reason.

I would contact customs to make sure you have everything you need before you make the trip. Because once you are on the border you are in their total control. You are neither in Cananda or the USA. You can't just say I will turn around and go back into Cananda and drop the car off.

I could take someone with me and Drive the Vehicle back accross if that would be the Best way?We were going to make a Deal that i was Borrowing the Vehicle,and he would leave his Plate on???I would realy like Him to drive it into the US and then He would have to get back over?For some reason He seems to have a prob.with a Birth Certificate???????
