Diaper

September 22 2008, 7:22 PM

I can't stomach a diaper on my car but if it will make the night go smoother I'm all for it.... should give folks some advanced notice that by such and such date it's a requirement so folks have time....

My car needs rework in the cross member area to make it right with my current pan so it just takes some folks time to do it.

Diapers should be mandatory on all race cars that go down the track. Just ask anyone who blows a motor and puts it into the wall if the 200 or 300 dollar diaper is worth the money? I have personally used mine unfortunately, but I know on more then one occasion it has saved my car. I know after having one, I will never run my car without one.

It's just COMMON SENSE to have one on your race car! The car, let alone your life,(or the life in the other lane) is worth the money, time and trouble to install one... I think they should be mandatory on all race cars 12.00 and quicker... You'd think the time and money that would be saved from clean ups and accidents would justify race tracks offering them to the racers at cost. Hell I only paid $159 for mine retail,(enginediapers.com) that's cheap protection.
