a simple question was asked" people really got bentover it!,all i was looking 4' was an answer ,of why do people post? and not respond back,! now i really see what this is all about.people trying to slander each other over a question,what is this world coming too,sorry 4 me asking,just wait until its important,hate to see what happens then ,

This is a pretty good forum. A place where people of similar interest can ask questions, express their thoughts, and exchange ideas.

In the spirit of social interchange, I thought your initial question was a legitimate one. "Why do people post looking for something, and then fail to respond to other's offer of help?" A good question that no doubt many of us have asked ourselves. If left at that, I'm sure you would have generated some positive feedback for this genuine question.

However, you didn't JUST ask "a simple question" as you just stated above. You concluded your original post by saying "keep it to yourself, get a life" ... It's no longer a simple question now. The stone has been cast, and people are pushed to either agree with you, or defend another position. Since you've set an abrasive tone, you must be able to see how this challenge would naturally call out others to respond with equal abrasion.

The temperament of the reply is often shaped not by the question, but how it was asked.

It was the "wasting space" comment and general negativity of your post that made me respond with "the pot callin the kettle black". I thought the negative rant was a waste of space. Maybe if you were not so negative and explained the situation further, the response would have been different. I still say don't sweat the small stuff, Its not worth wasting your time over.
