As of November 20, 2007, this button is illegal for use in NHRA Racing . Be sure this is legal in your sanction before purchasing, Click here for the latest NHRA ruling.

For all racers who race off the Bottom Bulb in classes where delay boxes are illegal, and are continually redlighting by a large margin, this is the button for you!!

AX Specs / Details:

The "AX" is infinitely adjustable from .000 - .400 (that is 4 tenths, folks). Adjustments are made from a set screw, which affects the flow of internal fluid, that in the end activates the external microswitch. Our advice on setting up this button - First make some runs in your car, and react to the bottom bulb as best as you can. If you are redlighting, take the button out of the car, hook it up to any practice tree with our Practice Tree Button Connector. Adjust the set screw to achieve your desired "slower" reaction time, and reinstall. A practice tree is a must for adjusting this button
Alot smaller than it looks, just 2-1/2" in length, top to bottom, and 1-1/4" wide. Thumbprint is 5/8"
It can easily mount to the steering wheel or any other desired location through 2 top mounting holes with the included bolts, or side mount for shifter applications.

Made from billet aluminum and tool steel

**In order to achieve consistent results, if the outside air temperature is below 50 degrees, it is recommended to heat the button with a heat gun, or hair dryer for 1 - 2 minutes**
People who buy this part also buy a 2 Lead Stretch Cord
