i have a 454 with hyd cam roller rockers stud girdles, when the motor is cold it sounds great but after it gets hot after driving the valve train gets noisy. i cant figure out why? how much timing initial should i have,any help would be great

What kind of oil are you using in there. Did you use oil restrictors in there. You shouldnt be using them at all for that. The timing has nothing to do with noisy lifters. How much oil presure are you running. If your using valvoline oil, thats a guarenteed no oil presure. I run a big block with a roller cam and jomar stud girdle. Let me know maybe I can help you.
