Why do the all the people that work at milan think that track is good,i heard more complaints about the track on friday then ever, the tracks sucks.I use to run at detroit when it was open and that old place hooked better than milan.Long live norwalk,us131,ubly,mid michigan and all the other tracks who care about the fans and racers not like the owners of milan who just care about the money.I know alot of people who won be back again after this last heads up race.I hope the owner die and someone inherits the track and makes it better

Track

June 10 2009, 7:48 PM

To tell you the truth my 60' times last weekend we as consistent, if not more consistent, then they have been ANYWHERE I've been in a long time. I 60'd 1.435 - 1.444 in 14 passes last weekend. Granted I don't make nearly as much power as a lot of people. The problem with the track is between 330' - 660'. I hardly EVER have to move the steering wheel through this area of the track, but last weekend I noticed the car moving around a few times. Just my .02.

WOW!

June 11 2009, 9:00 AM

There are not many guaranties in life. One guarantee for sure is that ignorant people will make ignorant and irresponsible statements. Milan Dragway's staff puts alot of effort into track preparation and dealing with weather and or oildowns. For every racer that complains about the track surface there 10 racers talking about how fast they just went. Milan Dragway and their staff do not deserve comments like that!

The Track

That's funny. I raced Friday, Saturday and Sunday and had no issues. My car always 60's great at Milan. A couple weeks ago around the 330' it was a little loose but other than that the track works good. I'm surprised, you didn't sign your name?????

I don't know what kind of car you are running or what kind of power you are making but your comments are totally out of line. Your comments are the worst I have ever experienced in all my years of drag racing. We raced friday night and did a .984 60ft. and went 6.49 at 219.53 on our first qualifing attempt and we make 2500hp. Also, we went straight on all three passes we made during eliminations and won run what ya brung. If you do not know how to set a car or chassis up that is your problem, not milan's. You should be ashamed of your outrageous comments and apologize to the owners and staff at milan dragway. Mike Farmer...Raging Eagle Racing

W T F ?!?!

Monteman, Dude, What do you think your little crybaby post is going to accomplish?

Wait, I know.....It makes you look like an idiot.....go figure.

I remember a post from this clown a few months ago b!tching about stupid stuff. If this is your attitude I'm sure you won't be missed if you never race here again.

By the way,
I may not be fast but I thought the track was great this weekend.

Track!

June 11 2009, 6:35 PM

Hold On!

Why even print this guys post. What a bunch of Mis-Directed BS on this guys part. The track is what it is. Good for some. Bad for others. I don't know much but I do know it all has a lot to do with How your Car is Set Up for the Current track conditions. Some days are better and that has a lot to do with the Temprature and Humity and it's effect on the track surface.

I have learned that I will not run on some nights when the Humidity is High and there is Fog in the air when the Track turns slick as Snot and if your making Big Ponies I have heard the Track Personal your so Quick to Hammer advise on not making any Hi Powered Passes. Safety First? You Bet.

I'm fairly new to all this. I learn someting new every pass I make but I know for sure I trust the People at Milan not to put me in Harms way and I always have an ear open to thier advise.

As far as your Post. Go screw yourself into into the ground and sprout so Bill can cut you down to size. Sorry, but Bill is the last one to deserve this kind of venom!

Pete

I think the track and all its personel do a great job at what they do. Every time i have been there the track has been great even though im not one of the faster cars i think the surface is all ways well prepared. Me and my son go to all of the heads up races as spectators and the fun part is not expecting the fastest car to all ways win its the one's that can adjust to the track. Me and my son will be back as racers and as spectators.

Dude, you are bitching about the track...well guess what. From what you said you should first go back to school, to English 101 and Writing 101. Because if this track is as bad as your comment, then your car is probably a piece of sh**. I have no problems with this track or the cost of racing. Stay home and work on your piece, see ya at the line.
