My name is Tyler Stewart and I love to come to milan Dragway. On the friday night races me and my dad usually always come. My favorite driver is Brian Robbins (skinny kid). Well im in eighth grade and for an english project we had to put togeather a book of poems and pick our favorite to read in front of the class. Well the poem i chose was a poem i wrote about milan. I wrote it for my dad and thought you guys would like to hear it. give me an E-mail and tell me what you think!

Milan Dragway

During the summer on every Friday,
this one day of the week,
I call my day.
Sometimes on this day my dad and me,
go to Milan to see what we can see.
We are getting close I can tell,
by the revving engines and the smoke smell.
There it is in my sight!
The sign “Milan dragway” shines in the light.
We get our tickets and head for the stands,
all the adreneline coming at you from the fans.
WE get to the fence and all the fans yell.
“ hey dad look at that 70' Chevelle”!
Later on in the night the finals just begun,
when my dad said “ hey son”!
I turned around and all I could do was stare,
from around the corner came a scare.
My favorite driver Brian Robbins pulled up.
The guy next to me dropped his cup.
A 72' hurset Oldsmobile painted white and gold.
He started the burnout and the ground shook,
6 seconds later the race was took.
The first one down the track won in this case.
Brian Robbins won the race!
