Jerry, this is some of the information I sent Matt. The first photo shows part of an avalanche, that as far as I could tell, is a point slide that started at the rocks about mid way up the gully just as it opens up. It may have started higher up but I couldn't tell in the shadows. The second shot shows what the road conditions are.
I suspect it's very ski-able and the chop in the debris field will diminish quickly with the warm weather.
I haven't been in the range for quite some time but talked to a friend who boarded the lower slopes of King Mt. on Saturday. she reported hard base with an inch of corn. sounds pretty fun,
