Response to Missing Summit Registers Rant

Don't like 'em. Never have, never will.

I remember the one on Borah, the big box that was eventually hit by lightning. Full of crap. ie. Empty film canister that had once contained pot, business cards, plastic toys?....Some records, but really disorganized.... it was mostly garbage. I know most registers are not like that, but the more and more popular peaks become, the more registers will tend to get like that.

"Just don't make the choice for the rest of us limited to what you feel is right... ". Well, the same can be said of defenders of registers. Just saying.

Let me be clear, I am not the one who is removing the registers, but...it doesn't bother me in the least. Mostly a non-issue, but I kind of like my peak tops void of any trace of human activity, but that is just me...
