You all that want the cold and snow are nuts. Once the snow melts, you have so much freedom. You can drive whereever you want. Climb whatever you want. You can sit in a chair in Copper Basin in comfort and drink a beer in the sun staring up gorgeous peaks in all directions (trust me, I did it yesterday).

8 hours of daylight + wet + cold + wind + shitty roads + avalanches + postholing + limited access to the high country = Yuck
