North Face of Borah yesterday (8,000 feet and above) was covered in 12-18 inches of new powder. A few point source wet slide avalanches came down from the steap part of the East Ridge just north of point 12,247. The COR was evenly draped with the same. While at elevation a cloud came in and ryme feathers grew on everything. It was magic.
Even though this coming week has new snow forcast, the amounts will be low and day time highs will not keep the new snow around long. The end of the week could burn off most of what is up there. Only wind loaded areas that were waste deep yesterday could remain till the weekend.
