It's something I put together while between jobs. Employed again these days so less time for side projects.
Ran WY recently which can be found
here. Probably biggest surprise is Grand Teton at #18. Lower than expected. But there are a few flat areas on that quad.
Ran CO and UT last year, error in the formula at that time though so they need to be re-examined.
Eventually will run all western states. Good guesses as to possible "rough" quads; I wouldn't have thought of Kauai. Anything North Cascades/Glacier NP would be in the mix.
"Summit Roughness" has been run for all western states, Idaho can be found
here. Better LRR/Sawtooth representation than with the quads.
