Response to knee rehab for climbing and skiing

I have seen a ton of guys who have had this same procedure done. It should not be that bad. The thing that could slow the rehab process is if they do a micro fracture when they take out the cartilage. I had this done on my ankle, and I was not able to do any impact exercises for 3 months. That being said it shouldn't be that bad.
The best advice I have gotten is that the surgery is only a small part of the process. The rehab is what is the most important. Take the rehab very seriously you wont have any problems If you do not do the rehab diligently, it wont matter if you had the best surgeon in the world. It wont feel good at the end of the day
