Re: 20 Mile Lakes hiking conditions?

It's 6 miles into the lakes from the trailhead near Upper Payette Lake. First 3 miles are flat and next 3 miles climb.

There is over 30 inches of snow at Deadwood Summit snotel at 6800'. Given that the lakes are 1000' higher than that, you can expect lots of snow. Lakes will likely be frozen, with perhaps small openings.
