May Mountain Mania

Another endurance contest with numerous obstacles and a 7 1/2 month scouting report to chew on led to some mania on May.



The west ridge would be the ascent route.



Working through the timber.



The crux looming to the left of center. The route would go around to the right and up through some Class 3 terrain.



The final stretch of summit ridge which was Class 2 and a final Class 3 up the summit block to top out. The route went just above the patch of snow on the right side of the ridge.



The benchmark does say Hi on it. And hello to you as well!
