      I recommend backpacking into Crimson Lake--one of the Idaho's finest.
      from the lake, you can access the ridge north of Cabin Creek and then walk the ridge north, over Last Tango, to Loening. The route up the Loening is not hard to find. I think a map and my writeup on pages 129 to 130 will get you there without trouble.

      Crimson Lake is really worth the trip. Its a great backpacking destination!

      There are a lot of technical lines on Cabin Creek and its lower summit. I am surprised no one else has reported a climb on it in the last 20 years.
