The "perfect" menu for me on a 1 day trip would be:
Breakfast - Los Betos bacon breakfast burrito. Potatoes cooked in lard with bacon, eggs and cheese and wrapped up in a tortilla that's probably illegal in some states. They're open 24/7/364, so I just buy one on the way out of town and wrap in foil and a jacket. About the time I get to the rest area at the junction of 20 & 75 (which is currently closed for renovations), I unwrap it, cut it in half (it's too big for one meal, so you share the other half with your climbing bud) and top with their salsa before consuming. Don't be tempted to go through the drive-thru, you need to go inside and get your salsa out of the cart - it just tastes better than the little containers they give in the drive-thru. You might want to give this meal a little time to digest before climbing.
Snackage - baby snickers, almond joys, black jelly beans, gorp - mixed nuts, dark chocolate m&m's & raisins, fig bars.
Bagelage - jalapeno/cheese bagels from Winco, cut in half and smear one triangle of laughing cow cheese on each side of the bagel for lubrication and to keep fillings attached to bagel, fill with salami, pepperoni, ham... add a slice of cheese and stuff it in a quart ziploc the night before. Victory Beer - served cold. Recipe courtesy of God. Also good served with chips and salsa.
